Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT):
Over the next few weeks, Gabe's Spotless Window Cleaning is going to donate window cleanings to non-profits in Tucson and shine a light on the good they do for the community. We are calling this campaign GSWC Cares. First off, we would like to introduce you to Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT). They are a wonderful organization and have helped many children of special needs in the Tucson area. From their website:
"TROT provides equine-assisted activities and therapies for children with physical and developmental disabilities. TROT serves children with autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, Down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, hearing/vision impairments, and other special needs."

Handi-Dogs:
For our next donated service in our GSWC Cares campaign, we cleaned windows for Handi-Dogs! They are a wonderful organization that trains service and therapy dogs for those in need. Handi-Dogs can be trained to detect glucose level fluctuation for diabetics, to soothe panic and anxiety attacks, seizure response, mobility & psychiatric assistance, and many other amazing services.

NAMI of Southern Arizona:
NAMI of Southern Arizona is a wonderful organization devoted to helping those struggling with mental illness. From their website:
"We are a non-profit, grassroots organization providing no-cost advocacy, education, and support to all those affected by mental illnesses. Since 1983, NAMI of Southern Arizona has been helping individuals with mental illness and their families."
One of the ways you can support them is by participating in the "NAMI Walks Your Way" fundraiser which takes place on May 30th. As you may have guessed, it's a virtual race this year, but your support can make a huge difference! Go to namiwalks.org for more info.
Angel Charity for Children:
Next up in our GSWC Cares campaign, we donated cleanings to Angel Charity for Children. This wonderful organization raises money for causes that help children in our community. Per their website:
"Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children in Pima County. Each year, our general membership selects beneficiaries, and partners with businesses and individuals throughout Pima County to raise funds to fulfill their grant request."
Just recently, during this pandemic, they have raised almost $200,000 for charities that support children! We applaud their efforts. If you would like to donate to their organization, visit www.angelcharity.org.
